Abstract
A cell culture substrate includes: a first layer that includes a first gel in which gold nanoparticles dispersed; and a second layer that includes a second gel in which the gold nanoparticles are not present or are present in a lower concentration in comparison with the first layer.
Claims3
A method for obtaining a cell, placed on a cell culture substrate which is stored in a culture vessel, comprising:
- selecting the cell to be obtained among a plurality of cells;
- culturing the plurality of cells on a cell placing surface of a first layer of the cell culture substrate that comprises the first layer that includes a first gel in which gold nanoparticles are dispersed, and a second layer that includes a second gel in which the gold nanoparticles are not present or are present in a lower concentration in comparison with the first layer;
- weakening a bond between the selected cell cultured on the first layer and the cell placing surface by irradiating with light forward from a side where the second layer is located, a convergence position in the first layer in an area around the selected cell cultured on the cell placing surface of the first layer to induce localized denaturation in the first gel without cell damage;
- and
- obtaining the selected cell from the convergence position in the first layer following the irradiation.
