Abstract
Ready-to-use, stable aqueous intravenous tranexamic acid compositions are provided.
Claims18
An aqueous pharmaceutical composition in the form of a solution for parenteral administration comprising:
- 5 mg/ml tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- and from 7.8 to 8.4 mg/ml sodium chloride, wherein the composition requires no dilution before administration and has a pH from 6.0 to 8.0.
An aqueous pharmaceutical composition in the form of a solution for parenteral administration comprising:
- 10 mg/ml tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- and from 6.8 to 7.5 mg/ml sodium chloride, wherein the composition requires no dilution before administration and has a pH from 6.0 to 8.0.
