Abstract
A novel canola variety designated G00112 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a canola plant that comprise crossing canola variety G00112 with another canola plant. Methods for producing a canola plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into G00112 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the canola seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid canola seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the canola variety G00112 or a locus conversion of G00112 with another canola variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of canola variety G00112, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202108109.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred canola variety G00112, representative seed of the canola variety G00112 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202108109, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of canola variety G00112 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred canola variety G00112, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202108109 with a different Brassica plant, wherein inbred canola variety G00112 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred canola variety G00112 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
