Abstract
A controller, which is a communication device, includes: a transfer unit including a function of transferring data received from a first terminal to another communication device via wireless communication; and a determination unit configured to determine whether first information is included in the data received by the transfer unit, the first information indicating that the data is to be multicast. The transfer unit is further configured to multicast the data to a second terminal when the determination unit determines that the first information is included in the data, the second terminal and the first terminal being different terminals.
Claims2
A method executed by a terminal that is a first terminal capable of communicating with a relay apparatus, the terminal including a communication interface, the method comprising:
- obtaining data and control information, the control information including destination information indicating a destination apparatus to which the relay apparatus is connected via a first communication interface of the relay apparatus and multicast information indicating one apparatus located on a communication path between the first terminal and the destination apparatus, the destination information triggering the relay apparatus to transmit the data to the destination apparatus via a second communication interface, the multicast information triggering the relay apparatus to multicast the data to one or more terminals connected via the first communication interface when the multicast information indicates the relay apparatus;
- and
- transmitting, to the relay apparatus via the communication interface, the data and the control information obtained.
A terminal that is a first terminal capable of communicating with a relay apparatus, the terminal comprising:
- a communication interface;
- and
- a processor which, in operation, performs:
- obtaining data and control information, the control information including destination information indicating a destination apparatus to which the relay apparatus is connected via a first communication interface of the relay apparatus and multicast information indicating one apparatus located on a communication path between the first terminal and the destination apparatus, the destination information triggering the relay apparatus to transmit the data to the destination apparatus via a second communication interface, the multicast information triggering the relay apparatus to multicast the data to one or more terminals connected via the first communication interface when the multicast information indicates the relay apparatus;
- and
- transmitting, to the relay apparatus via the communication interface, the data and the control information obtained.
