Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, on a downlink control channel and a first beam, first downlink control information (DCI), wherein the first DCI identifies a second DCI that is carried on a downlink shared channel; and receive multiple repetitions of the second DCI on the downlink shared channel on a plurality of second beams.
Claims30
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, on a downlink control channel and a first beam, first downlink control information (DCI), wherein the first DCI identifies a second DCI that is carried on a downlink shared channel;
- and
- receiving multiple repetitions of the second DCI on the downlink shared channel on a plurality of second beams,
- wherein two or more repetitions, of the multiple repetitions of the second DCI, carry a same set of beam configurations for a shared channel or two or more parts of the shared channel.
A method of wireless communication performed by a base station, comprising:
- transmitting, on a downlink control channel and a first beam, first downlink control information (DCI), wherein the first DCI includes scheduling information for a second DCI that is carried on a downlink shared channel;
- and
- transmitting multiple repetitions of the second DCI on the downlink shared channel on a plurality of second beams,
- wherein two or more repetitions, of the multiple repetitions of the second DCI, carry a same set of beam configurations for a shared channel or two or more parts of the shared channel.
A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory;
- and
- instructions stored in the memory and operable, when executed by the one or more processors, to cause the UE to:
- receive, on a downlink control channel and a first beam, first downlink control information (DCI), wherein the first DCI identifies a second DCI that is carried on a downlink shared channel;
- and
- receive multiple repetitions of the second DCI on the downlink shared channel on a plurality of second beams,
- wherein each repetition of the multiple repetitions of the second DCI carries multiple transmission configuration indicator states for a shared channel or a part of the shared channel.
A base station for wireless communication, comprising:
- memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory;
- and
- instructions stored in the memory and operable, when executed by the one or more processors, to cause the base station to:
- transmit, on a downlink control channel and a first beam, first downlink control information (DCI), wherein the first DCI includes scheduling information for a second DCI that is carried on a downlink shared channel;
- and
- transmit multiple repetitions of the second DCI on the downlink shared channel on a plurality of second beams,
- wherein each repetition of the multiple repetitions of the second DCI carries multiple transmission configuration indicator states for a shared channel or a part of the shared channel.
