Abstract
In one embodiment, a method for generating a three-dimensional (3D) anatomical map, including applying a trained artificial neural network to (a) a set of two-dimensional (2D) fluoroscopic images of a body part of a living subject, and (b) respective first 3D coordinates of the set of 2D fluoroscopic images, yielding second 3D coordinates of the 3D anatomical map, and rendering to a display the 3D anatomical map responsively to the second 3D coordinates.
Claims23
A method for generating a three-dimensional (3D) anatomical map, comprising:
- applying a trained artificial neural network to:
- (a) a set of two-dimensional (2D) fluoroscopic images of a body part of a living subject;
- and (b) respective first 3D coordinates of the set of 2D fluoroscopic images, yielding second 3D coordinates defining a 3D anatomical map;
- and
- rendering to a display the 3D anatomical map responsively to the second 3D coordinates.
A medical system, comprising:
- a fluoroscopic imaging device configured to capture a set of two-dimensional (2D) fluoroscopic images of a body part of a living subject;
- a display;
- and
- processing circuitry configured to:
- apply a trained artificial neural network to:
- (a) a set of two-dimensional (2D) fluoroscopic images of a body part of a living subject;
- and (b) respective first 3D coordinates of the set of 2D fluoroscopic images, yielding second 3D coordinates of a 3D anatomical map;
- and
- render to the display the 3D anatomical map responsively to the second 3D coordinates.
A software product, comprising a non-transient computer-readable medium in which program instructions are stored, which instructions, when read by a central processing unit (CPU), cause the CPU to:
- apply a trained artificial neural network to:
- (a) a set of two-dimensional (2D) fluoroscopic images of a body part of a living subject;
- and (b) respective first 3D coordinates of the set of 2D fluoroscopic images, yielding second 3D coordinates of a 3D anatomical map;
- and
- render to a display the 3D anatomical map responsively to the second 3D coordinates.
