Automated authentication systems and methods including automated waste management system with automated weight ticket and authentication

A method of asset retrieval using authentication, said method comprising:

• receiving, by a mobile device located in a vehicle, a request for service;
• confirming and accepting, by the mobile device, the request for service;
• receiving, by the mobile device, information identifying at least the asset and a location of the asset;
• sending, by the mobile device, tracking information about the vehicle after acceptance of
• the request for service, wherein the tracking information is received by a computing system;
• receiving, by the mobile device, a request for authentication from a smart device attached to or proximate to the asset as the vehicle approaches the asset;
• responding, by the mobile device, to the request for authentication from the smart device;
• and
• if the smart device attached to or proximate to with the asset receives a correct response from the mobile device, then transmitting meta information from the smart device to the mobile device;
• or
• if the smart device attached to or proximate to with the asset receives an incorrect response or no response from the mobile device, then not transmitting any information from the smart device to the mobile device.
