Macrocycles

A macrocycle having a structure selected from Formula (I)-(III):

• wherein
• B1, and B2 are independently selected from N, B, and P;
• L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, and L8 are independently selected from substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl and substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl;
• each Ab1, Ab2, each and Ab3 is independently selected from Formulae (1)-(5):
• each R6, R7, R8, R9, and R10 is independently selected from a bond to L2, L3, L4, L6, L7, or L8, alkanediyl attached to L2, L3, L4, L6, L7, or L8,
• each R6, R7, R8, R9, and R10 which is not a bond to L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, or L8, or alkanediyl attached to L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, or L8 is independently selected from H, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, halogen, CN, —CF3, —C(O)R17, —SO2NR17R18, —N17R18, —OR17, —S(O)2R17, —COOR17, —S(O)2OR17, —OC(O)R17, —C(O)NR17R18, —NR17C(O)R18, —NR17SO2R18, and —NO2,
• Ap1 is a member selected from Formulae (1′)-(5′):
• one of R6′, R7′, R8′, R9′, and R10′ is selected from a bond to L5, and each R6′, R7′, R8′, R9′, and R10′ which is not a bond to L5 is independently selected from H, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, halogen, CN, —CF3, —C(O)R17, —SO2NR17R18, —NR17R18, —OR17, —S(O)2R17, —COOR17, —S(O)2OR17, —OC(O)R17, —C(O)NR17R18, —NR17C(O)R18, —NR17SO2R18, and —NO2;
• each R17 and R18 is independently selected from H, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl and substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl, wherein
• R17 and R18, together with the atoms to which they are attached, are optionally joined to form a 5-, 6- or 7-membered ring;
• Ab1 is attached to L2 and L6 through two members selected from R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10;
• Ab2 is attached to L3 and L7 through two members selected from R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10;
• Ab3 is attached to L4 and L8 through two members selected from R6, R7, R8, R9 and R10;
• and
• Ap1 is attached to L5 through a member selected from R6′, R7′, R8′, R9′ and R10′.
