The blade a cutting edge. The tab has a crest configured to engage a handle. The crest is positioned between a pair of angled surfaces of the tab.
Claims12
A blade carrier assembly comprising:
- a blade carrier having a blade platform at a first end and a tab having a second end extending away from the blade platform;
- a blade mounted to the blade platform, the blade having a cutting edge;
- wherein the tab has a crest configured to engage a handle, the tab has two angled surfaces that define the crest,
- wherein when the blade is mounted to the blade platform, the tab extends away from the cutting edge in a direction opposite the cutting edge, and
- wherein a portion of the blade platform contacts the cutting edge of the blade.
