Golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads

A golf club head comprising:

• a body portion having a front portion, a toe portion with a toe portion edge, a heel portion with a hosel portion, a back portion with a back wall portion, a top portion with a top portion edge, a sole portion with a sole portion edge, and an interior cavity;
• a face portion coupled to the front portion to close the interior cavity;
• a first port connected to the interior cavity, the first port having a first port first end (PE1-1) and a first port second end (PE1-2), a distance between the first port first end (PE1-1) and the first port second end (PE1-2) defining a first port dimension;
• a second port coupled to the back wall portion below a horizontal midplane of the body portion, the second port having a second port first end (PE2-1) and a second port second end (PE2-2), a distance between the second port first end (PE2-1) and the second port second end (PE2-2) defining a second port dimension, the second port dimension being substantially greater than the first port dimension;
• a polymer material injected into the interior cavity from the first port;
• a first mass portion;
• and
• a second mass portion having a total mass greater than or equal to three times a total mass of the first mass portion,
• wherein the first mass portion is configured to be inserted into the first port to close the first port,
• wherein the second mass portion is configured to be inserted into the second port,
• wherein a distance between the first port first end (PE1-1) and the toe portion edge is less than a distance between the first port second end (PE1-2) and the toe portion edge,
• wherein a distance between the second port first end (PE2-1) and the toe portion edge is less than a distance between the second port second end (PE2-2) and the toe portion edge,
• wherein a distance between the first port second end (PE1-2) and the toe portion edge is substantially less than a distance between the second port second end (PE2-2) and the toe portion edge,
• wherein the first mass portion is made from a material having a greater density than the polymer material, and
• wherein the second mass portion is made from a material having a greater density than a material of the body portion.

A golf club head comprising:

• a body portion having a front portion, a toe portion with a toe portion edge, a heel portion with a hosel portion, a back portion with a back wall portion, a top portion with a top portion edge, a sole portion with a sole portion edge, and an interior cavity;
• a face portion coupled to the front portion to close the interior cavity;
• a first mass portion having a first mass portion first end (MPE1-1) and a first mass portion second end (MPE1-2), a distance between the first mass portion first end (MPE1-1) and the first mass portion second end (MPE1-2) defining a first mass portion dimension;
• a second mass portion coupled to the back wall portion below a horizontal midplane of the body portion, the second mass portion having a second mass portion first end (MPE2-1) and a second mass portion second end (MPE2-2), a distance between the second mass portion first end (MPE2-1) and the second mass portion second end (MPE2-2) defining a second mass portion dimension;
• a port on the body portion connected to the interior cavity;
• and
• a polymer material injected into the interior cavity from the port,
• wherein the first mass portion is configured to be inserted into the port to close the port,
• wherein a distance between the first mass portion first end (MPE1-1) and the toe portion edge is less than a distance between the first mass portion second end (MPE1-2) and the toe portion edge,
• wherein a distance between the second mass portion first end (MPE2-1) and the toe portion edge is less than a distance between the second mass portion second end (MPE2-2) and the toe portion edge,
• wherein the second mass portion dimension is substantially greater than the first mass portion dimension,
• wherein a distance between the port and the toe portion edge is less than a distance between the port and the hosel portion,
• wherein the first mass portion is made from a material having a greater density than the polymer material,
• wherein the second mass portion is made from a material having a greater density than a material of the body portion,
• wherein a total mass of the second mass portion is greater than or equal to three times a total mass of the first mass portion,
• wherein the first mass portion is visible to an individual viewing an outer surface of the back wall portion of the back portion, and
• wherein the second mass portion is visible to an individual viewing an outer surface of the back wall portion of the back portion.
