Systems and methods for multiplexing multiple wireless technologies in resource constrained environment based on spectral utilization

A system for resource allocation across different wireless standards comprising:

• a universal resource controller (URC) receiving a plurality of wireless scheduling inputs across multiple wireless standards and generating a resource control signal for resource allocation based at least on one or more priority rules;
• a central control unit allocating one or more configurable processing units within the central control unit to process the plurality of wireless scheduling inputs based on the resource control signal and generate one or more commands (CMDs) at a desired level of granularity to one or more hardware acceleration components;
• and
• one or more hardware acceleration components respectively receiving the one or more CMDs to implement desired operations.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium or media comprising one or more sequences of instructions which, when executed by at least one processor, causes steps to be performed comprising:

• receiving a plurality of wireless scheduling inputs across multiple wireless standards;
• virtualizing physical layer operations requested for the plurality of wireless scheduling inputs;
• and
• generating a resource control signal to dynamically allocate resources among one or more configurable processing units in a central control unit for the plurality of wireless scheduling inputs based on one or more priority rules and a resource status of the one or more configurable processing units.
