Abstract
Provided are a method and an apparatus for performing an initial access in a limited bandwidth. The method of a user equipment (UE) for performing an initial access in a limited bandwidth may include receiving at least one of i) first configuration information which is configured for a UE having a limited bandwidth in which an available bandwidth is narrower than a predetermined bandwidth and ii) second configuration information which is configured for a UE having the predetermined bandwidth, and performing an initial access based on one of the first configuration information and the second configuration information.
Claims12
A method of a user equipment (UE) for performing an initial access, the method comprising:
- receiving at least one of i) first configuration information which is configured for a UE having a limited bandwidth in which an available bandwidth is narrower than a predetermined bandwidth and ii) second configuration information which is configured for a UE having the predetermined bandwidth;
- and
- performing an initial access based on one of the first configuration information and the second configuration information,
- wherein the first configuration information comprises information on a random access channel resource configured based on a sequence separately configured for the UE having the limited bandwidth.
A method of a base station for performing an initial access in a limited bandwidth, the method comprising:
- transmitting at least one of i) first configuration information which is configured for a UE having a limited bandwidth in which an available bandwidth is narrower than a predetermined bandwidth and ii) second configuration information which is configured for a UE having the predetermined bandwidth;
- and
- performing an initial access based on one of the first configuration information and the second configuration information,
- wherein the first configuration information comprises information on a random access channel resource configured based on a sequence separately configured for the UE having the limited bandwidth.
A user equipment (UE) for performing an initial access in a limited bandwidth, the user equipment comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive at least one of i) first configuration information which is configured for a UE having a limited bandwidth in which an available bandwidth is narrower than a predetermined bandwidth and ii) second configuration information which is configured for a UE having the predetermined bandwidth;
- and
- a controller configured to perform an initial access based on one of the first configuration information and the second configuration information,
- wherein the first configuration information comprises information on a random access channel resource configured based on a sequence separately configured for the UE having the limited bandwidth.
