Cryptographic platform system and method

A system comprising:

• a first computing device having a memory, at least one processor, a first application, and a first Transport Layer Security (TLS) library, the first computing device to request a sequence of cryptographic keys obtained by a first agent, the sequence of cryptographic keys based on an agent key comprising a shared secret password and provided from the first agent to the first TLS library;
• a second computing device having a memory, at least one processor, a second application different from the first application, and a second TLS library different from the first TLS library, the second computing device to request the sequence of cryptographic keys obtained by a second agent, the sequence of cryptographic keys based on the agent key and provided from the second agent to the second TLS library, the first agent and the second agent creating a TLS connection using a cryptographically generated initial key comprising a first cryptographic key and each of the first agent and the second agent generating the first cryptographic key in the sequence of cryptographic keys, the TLS connection authenticated using the first cryptographic key or via asymmetric private keys validated with asymmetric public keys by the first agent and the second agent;
• and
• the first computing device and the second computing device to communicate a plurality of messages between the first application of the first computing device and the second application of the second computing device using a cryptographic protocol to provide mutual authentication and identical rotation of cryptographic keys in the sequence of cryptographic keys for each of the first computing device and the second computing device, each message of the plurality of messages using a first cryptographic key of the sequence of cryptographic keys based on the agent key for a particular period of time until one of the first TLS library and the second TLS library generates a same updated cryptographic key of the sequence of cryptographic keys, the communicating for the particular period of time comprising encrypting each message of the plurality of messages using the first cryptographic key and decrypting each message of the plurality of messages using the first cryptographic key.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least one computing device cause the at least one computing device to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• requesting, by a first computing device having a first application and a first Transport Layer Security (TLS) library, a sequence of cryptographic keys obtained by a first agent, the sequence of cryptographic keys based on an agent key comprising a shared secret password and provided from the first agent to the first TLS library;
• requesting, by a second computing device having a second application different from the first application and a second TLS library different from the first TLS library, the sequence of cryptographic keys obtained by a second agent, the sequence of cryptographic keys based on the agent key and provided from the second agent to the second TLS library, the first agent and the second agent creating a TLS connection using a cryptographically generated initial key comprising a first cryptographic key and each of the first agent and the second agent generating the first cryptographic key in the sequence of cryptographic keys, the TLS connection authenticated using the first cryptographic key or via asymmetric private keys validated with asymmetric public keys by the first agent and the second agent;
• and
• communicating a plurality of messages between the first application of the first computing device to the second application of the second computing device using a cryptographic protocol to provide mutual authentication and identical rotation of cryptographic keys in the sequence of cryptographic keys for each of the first computing device and the second computing device, each message of the plurality of messages using a first cryptographic key of the sequence of cryptographic keys based on the agent key for a particular period of time until one of the first TLS library and the second TLS library generates a same updated cryptographic key of the sequence of cryptographic keys, the communicating for the particular period of time comprising encrypting each message of the plurality of messages using the first cryptographic key and decrypting each message of the plurality of messages using the first cryptographic key.
