Abstract
Examples described herein relate to apparatuses and methods of providing automated teller machine (ATM) status notifications. A method includes detecting a signal near an ATM, determining that the signal is indicative of the ATM being comprised, calculating a compromise score based at least on the determination that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised, and displaying an image on a user interface of the user device in a manner that reflects the compromise score.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- detecting, by a user device, a signal near an automated teller machine (ATM);
- determining, by the user device, that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- calculating, by the user device, a compromise score based at least on the determination that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- and
- displaying, by the user device, an image on a user interface of the user device in a manner that reflects the compromise score.
2 more elements
A provider computing system, comprising:
- a network interface;
- and
- a processing circuit comprising one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory, the memory comprising an automated teller machine (ATM) database, and wherein the processing circuit is structured to:
- receive a signal detected by a user device proximate the ATM;
- determine that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- calculate a compromise score based at least on the determination that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- and
- cause an image to be displayed on a user interface of the user device in a manner that reflects the compromise score.
5 more elements
A mobile device, comprising:
- a network interface circuit structured to communicate data to and from a provider computing system associated with a provider;
- a sensor structured to detect a signal;
- an input/output device structured to exchange data with a user;
- and
- a processing circuit comprising a processor and memory, the processing circuit structured to:
- detect, by the sensor, the signal near an automated teller machine (ATM);
- determine that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- calculate a compromise score based at least on the determination that the signal is indicative of the ATM being compromised;
- and
- display, by the input/output device, an image on a user interface in a manner that reflects the compromise score.
