Abstract
A computer-implemented method of providing specialized media on a website is disclosed. The method includes producing campaign media which is delivered to a user through a third-party provider. After the user has received the campaign media, and upon indication of a request from the user to access a website controlled by a content provider, specialized media on a website controlled by the content provider may be provided. Providing the specialized media may be done based on the campaign media previously delivered to the user through the third-party provider.

A method comprising:
- receiving, by a server, a request to access a particular webpage of a content provider, the request including an identification of a user device;
- retrieving tracking data associated with a set of objects, the set of objects having been transmitted to users via one or more webpages operated by one or more third-party providers, the tracking data identifying a subset of objects that were transmitted to the user device, wherein the tracking data includes an indication of a time when instances in which content associated with an object was presented to the user device;
- executing a ranking formula on the subset of objects, the ranking formula being configured to rank the subset of objects based on a time interval beginning when the content associated with the object was presented to the user device and ending upon receiving the request to access the particular webpage;
- defining specialized media based on the tracking data and the rank of the subset of objects;
- and
- facilitating a presentation of a customized version of the particular webpage by the content provider, the customized version of the particular webpage including the particular webpage and the specialized media.

- one or more data processors;
- a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed by the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform operations including:
- receiving, by a server, a request to access a particular webpage of a content provider, the request including an identification of a user device;
- retrieving tracking data associated with a set of objects, the set of objects having been transmitted to users via one or more webpages operated by one or more third-party providers, the tracking data identifying a subset of objects that were transmitted to the user device, wherein the tracking data includes an indication of a time when instances in which content associated with an object was presented to the user device;
- executing a ranking formula on the subset of objects, the ranking formula being configured to rank the subset of objects based on a time interval beginning when the content associated with the object was presented to the user device and ending upon receiving the request to access the particular webpage;
- defining specialized media based on the tracking data and the rank of the subset of objects;
- and
- facilitating a presentation of a customized version of the particular webpage by the content provider, the customized version of the particular webpage including the particular webpage and the specialized media.
