Connected device transaction code system

A transaction processing server comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the transaction processing server to:
• receive, from a mobile device, transaction information associated with a transaction requested by a connected device, the transaction information including at least an indication of a resource provider with which the transaction is conducted;
• generate a transaction code associated with the transaction information;
• provide the transaction code to the mobile device in response to receiving the transaction information;
• and
• upon receiving the transaction code in a first authorization request message:
• retrieve the transaction information;
• generate a second authorization request message based at least in part on the retrieved transaction information;
• and
• route the second authorization request message to an appropriate authorization computer.
