Abstract

The display device includes a first substrate; an active layer disposed on the first substrate; a first insulation layer disposed on the active layer; a first electrode layer disposed on the first insulation layer including a gate electrode line extending along a first direction and a protruding portion extending along a second direction; a second insulation layer disposed on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer disposed on the second insulation layer. The second electrode layer includes a date line extending along the second direction and a conductive layer. The conductive layer includes a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion, wherein the first conductive portion has a first maximum width A along the first direction, and the second conductive portion has a second maximum width B along the first direction. The first maximum width A is less than the second maximum width B.

Dependent claims

A display device comprising:

a substrate;
an active layer disposed above the substrate;
a gate electrode line disposed above the substrate;
and
a second electrode layer disposed above the substrate and comprising:
a data line crossing the gate electrode line;
and
a conductive pattern that is in electrical contact with the active layer, wherein the conductive pattern includes a first side extending in a first direction, a second side extending in the first direction, and a third side connected between the first side and the second side, and wherein the third side is adjacent to the gate electrode line and includes a part not parallel to the first direction and not perpendicular to the first direction,
wherein the active layer has a U shape when viewed in a top view, the active layer comprises a first portion extending in the first direction, a second portion extending in the first direction, and a third portion connecting the first portion to the second portion, and
wherein the first portion and the second portion are different in length.
