Abstract
Adhesive and additive for adhesive made from post-consumer polypropylene.
Claims28
A method of making hot melt adhesive, comprising:
- obtaining an additive comprising a chain degraded post-consumer polypropylene;
- and
- mixing the additive comprising the chain degraded post-consumer polypropylene with one or more of a polymer(s), wax(es), adhesion promoters, antioxidants, and tackifying agent(s), thereby forming the hot melt adhesive.
A hot melt adhesive, comprising:
- a chain degraded post-consumer polypropylene;
- and
- one or more of a polymer, wax(es), adhesion promoters, antioxidants, and tackifying agent(s).
