A composition contains a mixture of silyl hydride, epoxide and a Bridged Frustrated Lewis Pair.
Claims19
A composition comprising a mixture of silyl hydride, an epoxide and a Bridged Frustrated Lewis Pair.
A hydrosilylation process comprising the steps of:
- (a) providing a composition comprising a mixture of silyl hydride, an epoxide and a Bridged Frustrated Lewis Pair;
- and
- (b) heating the composition to a temperature sufficient to dissociate the Lewis acid from the Bridged Frustrated Lewis Pair.
