Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a mounting press for hot mounting a sample, comprising: a mounting cylinder which receives the sample and has a main cylinder axis and a cylinder opening, wherein the main cylinder axis extends inside the mounting cylinder and out through the cylinder opening, and a covering that extends around the cylinder opening, and a suction device for extracting granular material dust, granular material, or vapors, for example, wherein the suction device comprises a vacuum generator for providing a suction effect, and wherein the suction device is at least partly mounted on the covering or embedded in the covering.
Claims22
A mounting press for hot mounting a sample, comprising:
- a mounting cylinder for receiving the sample, having a main cylinder axis and a cylinder opening located at an upper end of the mounting cylinder adapted for filling granular material into the mounting cylinder, with the main cylinder axis extending inside the mounting cylinder and out of the cylinder opening;
- a covering located at the upper end of the mounting cylinder and including a covering plate extending around the cylinder opening at the upper end of the mounting cylinder;
- a suction device for extracting granular material dust, granular material, or vapor in the region of the cylinder opening of the mounting cylinder;
- wherein the suction device comprises a vacuum generator for providing a suction effect;
- wherein the suction device is at least partly mounted on the covering or embedded in the covering and is adapted to achieve the suction effect in the region of the cylinder opening of the mounting cylinder.
A mounting press suction device for a mounting press including a mounting cylinder, a cylinder opening located at an upper end of the mounting cylinder, and a main cylinder axis extending through the mounting cylinder,
- a covering located at the upper end of the mounting cylinder and extending around the cylinder opening at the upper end of the mounting cylinder;
- a vacuum generator for providing a suction effect;
- at least one suction air passage connected to the vacuum generator;
- at least one suction opening in communication with the suction air passage and arrangeable adjacent to and above the cylinder opening so as to allow to achieve a suction effect in the region of the cylinder opening for extracting granular material dust, granular material, or vapor in the region of the cylinder opening of the mounting cylinder;
- wherein the suction device is at least partly mounted on the covering or embedded in the covering.
