The present disclosure relates to packaging and applicator devices for eyeliner.
Eyeliner applicators are known that include a stem provided at one end with an applicator endpiece constituted by a tip that is tapering, e.g., of generally conical shape.
U.S. Pat. No. 7,077,592 describes an applicator enabling a line to be drawn with greater or smaller width by means of the presence of two tips. Nevertheless, it is quite difficult to draw a broad line or a narrow line since the tips tend to splay apart from each other under the effect of the pressure exerted against the skin.
So that the manner in which the above recited features of the present disclosure can be understood in detail, a more particular description of the disclosure, briefly summarized above, may be had by reference to embodiments, some of which are illustrated in the appended drawings.
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal section view of a packaging and applicator device made in accordance with the present disclosure;
FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the packaging and applicator device of FIG. 1;
To facilitate understanding, identical reference numerals have been used, where possible, to designate identical elements that are common to the figures. It is to be noted, however, that the appended drawings illustrate only typical embodiments of this invention and are therefore not to be considered limiting of its scope, for the invention may admit to other equally effective embodiments.
The packaging and applicator device 1 shown in FIG. 1 comprises a container 2 containing a liquid composition (not shown) for application, an eyeliner in the example under consideration, and an applicator 3 capable of being fastened removably on the container 2.
The container 2 comprises a body which may be of arbitrary shape, and is provided in the example shown with a threaded neck 6 having a wiper member 8 mounted therein.
