Power end hub puller kit apparatus and methods

A hub puller kit for power ends of frac pumps, the hub puller kit comprising:

• an adapter flange formed out of a monolithic body, comprising a first surface, a second surface, one or more sets of fastener openings extending from the first surface to the second surface, and a central opening, the one or more sets of fastener openings disposed radially outside of the central opening, wherein the adapter flange further comprises a stepped surface formed on the first surface and a recessed surface formed in the second surface, and wherein the central opening comprises a threaded flange portion that extends from the stepped surface to the recessed surface;
• and
• a hydraulic actuator coupled to the adapter flange, the hydraulic actuator comprising a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic plunger disposed at least partially within the hydraulic cylinder, wherein the hydraulic cylinder comprises a threaded actuator portion that engages the threaded flange portion to couple the hydraulic actuator to the adapter flange, wherein the hydraulic plunger is movable between an extended position and a retracted position, and wherein the hydraulic plunger extends through the entire threaded flange portion of the central opening when in the extended position.
