Counter substrate for a liquid crystal display device comprising first and second light shielding layers that are layered while contacting each other at a crossing part

A counter substrate for a liquid crystal device comprising:

• an insulating substrate having a first surface and a second surface facing to the first surface,
• a plurality of first light shielding layers extending in a first direction and a plurality of second light shielding layers extending in a second direction crossing the first direction at the first surface side, and
• a plurality of color filters, each of the color filters disposed among the second light shielding layers in the first direction, wherein
• the first light shielding layers and the second light shielding layers are layered while contacting each other at a crossing part,
• the first light shielding layers contacts the first surface,
• each of the second light shielding layers has a front surface which contacts the first surface in the part other than the crossing part and a rear surface which opposites the front surface,
• each of the color filters fills between the second light shielding layers without contacting the rear surface,
• each of the first light shielding layers incudes a second surface contacting the first surface and a third surface facing to the second surface, and
• each of the color filters contacts the third surface.
