System and method for real-time insurance quote in response to a self-diagnostic test

A system, comprising:

• a mobile device including a camera, a viewing screen, and a software application stored thereon, wherein the software application provides executable instructions that, when executed, cause the mobile device to:
• initiate operation of the camera of the mobile device;
• detect a misalignment of a testing device with a displayed outline in a display of the mobile device, wherein the displayed outline corresponds to a shape of the testing device;
• while the misalignment of the testing device with the displayed outline occurs, generate and display a warning message on the display of the mobile device indicating the misalignment;
• detect an alignment of the testing device with the displayed outline in the display of the mobile device;
• and
• automatically trigger capture of an image of the testing device in response to detection of the alignment of the testing device with the displayed outline;
• generate a graphical user display requesting input of user information relating to an insurance quote;
• receive the user information relating to the insurance quote from the graphical user display;
• transmit an insurance quote request including the image of the testing device and the user information relating to the insurance quote;
• a server disposed on a network, the server configured to:
• receive, from the mobile device, the insurance quote request including the image of the testing device and the user information relating to the insurance quote;
• determine diagnostic test results based on the image of the testing device;
• store the diagnostic test results and the user information relating to the insurance quote;
• transmit the insurance quote request including the diagnostic test results and at least a portion of the user information relating to the insurance quote to one or more insurance providers, responsive to determination of the diagnostic test results;
• receive at least one insurance quote from the one or more insurance providers responsive to the insurance quote request, the at least one insurance quote determined responsive to the diagnostic test results and the at least the portion of the user information relating to the insurance quote;
• and
• transmit the at least one insurance quote to the mobile device.
