An immunogenic composition comprising a Zika virus having a tryptophan to glycine mutation at position 98 (Trp98Gly) of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, or at a position corresponding to position 98 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, wherein the Zika virus is an inactivated whole virus.
