Abstract
A transmitting apparatus is disclosed. The transmitting apparatus includes an encoder to perform channel encoding with respect to bits and generate a codeword, an interleaver to interleave the codeword, and a modulator to map the interleaved codeword onto a non-uniform constellation according to a modulation scheme, and the constellation may include constellation points defined based on various tables according to the modulation scheme.
Claims4
A transmitting apparatus comprising:
- an interleaver configured to interleave a codeword, wherein the codeword is generated by encoding input bits based on a low density parity check (LDPC) code, a code rate of the LDPC code being 2/15;
- a mapper configured to map bits of the interleaved codeword to at least one constellation point among constellation points for 64-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM);
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit signal which is generated based on the constellation points,
- wherein the constellation points comprise constellation points as represented in a list below:
- 0.6474+0.9831i
- 0.6438+0.9829i

A receiving apparatus comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive a signal from a transmitting apparatus;
- a demodulator configured to demodulate the signal to generate values;
- a deinterleaver configured to deinterleave the values;
- and
