Abstract
A method for producing a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous secondary battery includes the steps of mixing a compound containing lithium, a compound containing nickel and BaTiO3 to form a mixed material; and sintering the mixed material to form a lithium transition metal composite oxide.
Claims9
A method for producing a positive electrode material for a nonaqueous secondary battery, comprising:
- preparing a complex oxide containing nickel and cobalt,
- after the complex oxide containing nickel and cobalt is prepared, mixing BaTiO3, the complex oxide containing nickel and cobalt, and a compound containing lithium to form a mixed material;
- and
- sintering the mixed material to form a lithium transition metal composite oxide that has a layered structure,
- wherein a ratio of BaTiO3 with respect to the complex oxide containing nickel and cobalt is 1 mol % or higher and 2 mol % or lower.
