Device and apparatus for the height adjustment of a road vehicle and relative road vehicle

A device (2) for the height adjustment of a high-performance road vehicle;

• the device (2) being configured to be at least partially interposed between a frame and a suspension (4) of the road vehicle and to allow the vehicle to shift from a road configuration to a race configuration and vice versa;
• the device (2) comprising:
• a base body (6) comprising a first end (7), which can mechanically be connected to the frame of the road vehicle;
• a first movable mass (8), which is connected to the base body (6) so as to be movable along a sliding axis (A) and is capable of assuming at least a first position in the road configuration and a second position in the race configuration;
• wherein the first movable mass (8) comprises a plate (10), which is configured to at least partially compress a main elastic element of the suspension (4);
• a second moveable mass (9), which is connected to the first movable mass (8) so as to be movable along the sliding axis (A) as well and is capable of assuming at least a third position in the road configuration and a fourth position in the race configuration;
• wherein the second movable mass (9) comprises a second end (16), which is opposite the first end (7) and is connected to the suspension of the road vehicle (4) and to change the stroke of the suspension (4) depending on the position of the second movable mass (9);
• and
• wherein the second movable mass (9) is configured to at least partially move in an opposite direction relative to the first movable mass (8) and is forced to slide along the sliding axis (A) between a third limit stop element and a fourth limit stop element;
• wherein the third limit stop element is integral to the base body (6) and the fourth limit stop element is integral to the first movable mass (8), the second movable mass (9) is in contact with the third and the fourth limit stop element, respectively, in the third and in the fourth position.
