Iterative uniformity compensation mechanism

At least one non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by one or more processors, cause the processors to:

• receive print image measurement data corresponding to a first set of transfer functions associated with each of a plurality of pel forming elements;
• generate measurement data for each of the pel forming elements based on the print image measurement data;
• and
• generate a second set of transfer functions associated with each of the pel forming elements;
• and
• apply the second transfer functions to the first transfer functions to generate cumulative transfer functions, wherein the cumulative transfer functions are applied to image data to print an image to a print medium.

A method comprising:

• receiving print image measurement data corresponding to a first set of transfer functions associated with each of a plurality of pel forming elements;
• generating measurement data for each of the pel forming elements based on the print image measurement data;
• and
• generating a second set of transfer functions associated with each of the pel forming elements;
• and
• applying the second transfer functions to the first transfer functions to generate cumulative transfer functions, wherein the cumulative transfer functions are applied to image data to print an image to a print medium.
