Abstract
A wearable electronic device includes: an input module configured to receive a user manipulation for changing a configuration setting value of a main electronic device; and a communication module configured to transmit a control signal for changing a configuration setting value to the main electronic device.
Claims20
An electronic device comprising:
- a communication circuit;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- establish, via the communication circuit, a connection between the electronic device and an wearable electronic device;
- in response to receiving a user input for changing a configuration setting value of the electronic device, change the configuration setting value of the electronic device and transmit, via the communication circuit, a signal indicative of the changed configuration setting value of the electronic device to the wearable electronic device;
- receive, via the communication circuit, a signal indicative of a configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device from the wearable electronic device;
- and
- synchronize, if the configuration setting value of the electronic device is different than the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device, the configuration setting value of the electronic device to a most recently changed configuration setting value among the configuration setting value of the electronic device and the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device,
- wherein the configuration setting value of the electronic device corresponds to one of activation or deactivation of a notification function of the electronic device, and
- wherein the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device corresponds to one of activation or deactivation of a notification function of the wearable electronic device.

A system comprising:
- an electronic device configured to in response to receiving a user input for changing a configuration setting value of the electronic device, change the configuration setting value of the electronic device and transmit a first signal indicative of the changed configuration setting value of the electronic device to a wearable electronic device;
- and
- the wearable electronic device configured to:
- in response to receiving the first signal indicative of the changed configuration setting value of the electronic device, change the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device according to the first signal;
- and
- in response to receiving a user input for changing a configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device, change the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device and transmit a second signal indicative of the changed configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device to the electronic device,
- wherein the electronic device is further configured to:
- receive the second signal indicative of the changed configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device from the wearable electronic device;
- and
- synchronize, if the configuration setting value of the electronic device and the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device are different, the configuration setting value of the electronic device and the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device with a most recently changed configuration setting value among the configuration setting value of the electronic device and the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device,
- wherein the configuration setting value of the electronic device corresponds to one of activation or deactivation of a notification function of the electronic device, and
- wherein the configuration setting value of the wearable electronic device corresponds to one of activation or deactivation of a notification function of the wearable electronic device.
