Abstract
A near-field communication device operates to transmit data by near-field communications techniques to another device. The near-field communication device includes a memory that stores a message to be transmitted in an ASCII format. The message is retrieved from the memory and transmitted using the near-field communications techniques in an ASCII format.
Claims19
A near-field communication device, comprising:
- a memory circuit including a free access area configured to store static data in an ASCII format, and a restricted access area configured to store dynamic data in the ASCII format;
- a logic circuit configured to manipulate circuit data in the ASCII format without performance of any data conversion into the ASCII format;
- and
- a transceiver configured to receive the static data in the ASCII format and the dynamic data in the ASCII format from the memory circuit and further receive the circuit data in the ASCII format from the logic circuit, said transceiver further configured to radio frequency transmit an ASCII formatted message including the static data, the dynamic data and the circuit data by near-field communications techniques.

A near-field communication device, comprising:
- a memory circuit including a free access area configured to store static data in an ASCII format, and a restricted access area configured to store dynamic data in the ASCII format;
- a logic circuit configured to manipulate circuit data in the ASCII format without performance of any data conversion into the ASCII format and output the dynamic data in the ASCII format for storage in the restricted access area of the memory circuit;
- and
- a transceiver configured to receive the static data in the ASCII format and the dynamic data in the ASCII format from the memory circuit, said transceiver further configured to radio frequency transmit an ASCII formatted message including the static data and the dynamic data by near-field communications techniques.

A near-field communication device, comprising:
- a logic circuit configured to supply data in an ASCII format without performing any data conversion operation from a binary format in order to supply said data in the ASCII format;
- a memory configured to store the data received from the logic circuit in the ASCII format;
- and
- a transceiver configured to retrieve the data from the memory, format a message including the data in the ASCII format and radio frequency transmit the message by near-field communications techniques in the ASCII format;
- wherein the message comprises a static portion and a dynamic portion;
- and
- wherein the memory stores the dynamic portion in a restricted access area of the memory, said dynamic portion comprising the data in the ASCII format supplied by the logic circuit.
4 more elements
A method for near-field communication, comprising:
- generating data in ASCII format, wherein there is no performance of a data conversion operation from a binary format in order to generate said data;
- storing the generated data in the ASCII format in a memory;
- retrieving the data in the ASCII format from the memory;
- and
- radio frequency transmitting of an ASCII formatted message including said retrieved data in the ASCII format by near-field communication techniques in the ASCII format;
- wherein the ASCII formatted message comprises a static portion and a dynamic portion;
- and
- wherein storing comprises storing the dynamic portion in a restricted access area of the memory.
