Apparatus and method for manufacturing display device

An apparatus for manufacturing a display device, the apparatus comprising:

• a pressing pad including a body portion and having a vision hole penetrating the body portion;
• a vision camera above a top surface of the pressing pad and overlapping the vision hole;
• and
• a suction picker comprising a suction pad configured to fix a first unit substrate in a vacuum suction manner in response to at least one alignment mark on the first unit substrate being recognized by the vision camera, the suction picker being separated from, and spaced in a lateral direction from, the body portion,
• wherein the pressing pad is placed in contact with the first unit substrate to flatten the first unit substrate.
