Abstract
Data can be transmitted and represented by signal gaps in a transmission, the gaps having various attributes. In various examples, data points are encoded and represented by the attributes of said signal gaps. Various attributes of such gaps, including duration, pattern, quantity, time, and/or coordination with a gap in another signal can represent data.
Claims18
A method for encoding data, comprising:
- inserting a signal gap in a transmission where the signal gap represents encoded data;
- wherein the encoded data is encrypted, and
- wherein the signal gap is a virtual gap in the transmission.
A method for encoding data comprising:
- inserting a signal gap in a transmission, where the signal gap represents encoded data;
- wherein the signal gap is a virtual gap or a real gap in the transmission, and
- wherein a particular frequency of the transmission represents the virtual signal gap.
A method for encoding data, comprising:
- inserting a signal gap in a transmission, where the signal gap represents encoded data;
- wherein a duration of the signal gap and a position of the signal gap represents additional encoded data.
