Abstract
Various embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and apparatus for processing a voice command in an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the disclosure, the electronic device includes a microphone, a memory, and a processor operatively coupled to the microphone and the memory. The processor may be configured to wake up on the basis of detection of a voice call command, calculate a score related to recognition of the voice call command, share the score with an external device, decide whether to execute a voice command on the basis of the score, and process the voice command on the basis of the decision result. Various embodiments are possible.
Claims9
An electronic device comprising:
- a microphone;
- communication circuitry;
- a memory;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the microphone and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to:
- detect a voice command including a voice call command using the microphone;
- obtain a score related to the voice call command;
- control the communication circuitry to transmit a request including information on the score to a server;
- when the electronic device is determined as a feedback target device based on the score, receive a first response to the request from the server using the communication circuitry;
- in response to the first response being a feedback command, output a feedback for requesting a user to select a target device performing the voice command, wherein the feedback includes guide information on selectable devices as the target device;
- in response to the feedback, detect a speech of the user selecting the target device using the microphone;
- and
- process an operation related to the voice command based on the detected speech, the processing of the operation comprising:
- based on the detected speech of the user indicating the electronic device, determining the electronic device as the target device, transferring a signal for instructing a different electronic device to transition to a standby state, and processing the voice command;
- and
- based on the detected speech of the user indicating the different electronic device, transferring a signal for instructing the different electronic device to execute the voice command, and transition to the standby state to wait for the voice call command.
A method of providing a voice service in an electronic device, the method comprising:
- detecting a voice command including a voice call command using a microphone of the electronic device;
- obtaining a score related to the voice call command;
- transmitting, using communication circuitry of the electronic device, a request including information on the score to a server;
- receiving a first response to the request from the server using the communication circuitry, when the electronic device is determined as a feedback target device based on the score;
- in response to the first response being a feedback command, outputting a feedback for requesting a user to select a target device performing the voice command, wherein the feedback includes guide information on selectable devices as the target device;
- in response to the feedback, detecting a speech of the user selecting the electronic device as the target device using the microphone;
- and
- processing on operation related to the voice command based on the detected speech, the processing operation comprising:
- based on the detected speech of the user indicating the electronic device, determining the electronic device as the target device, transferring a signal for instructing a different electronic device to transition to a standby state, and processing the voice command;
- and
- based on the detected speech of the user indicating the different electronic device, transferring a signal for instructing the different electronic device to execute the voice command, and transition to the standby state to wait for the voice call command.
