Abstract
Methods and apparatus for improving speech recognition accuracy in media content searches are described. An advertisement for a media content item is analyzed to identify keywords that may describe the media content item. The identified keywords are associated with the media content item for use during a voice search to locate the media content item. A user may speak the one or more of the keywords as a search input and be provided with the media content item as a result of the search.
Claims51
A method comprising:
- storing, by a computing device, one or more keywords corresponding to an advertisement that is associated with a media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receiving a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determining the media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the media content item;
- and
- causing output of an indication associated with the media content item.
A method comprising:
- storing, by a computing device, one or more keywords corresponding to a first media content item that is associated with a second media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the second media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receiving a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determining the second media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the second media content item;
- and
- causing output of an indication associated with the second media content item.
An apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- store one or more keywords corresponding to an advertisement that is associated with a media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receive a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determine the media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the media content item;
- and
- cause output of an indication associated with the media content item.
An apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- store one or more keywords corresponding to a first media content item that is associated with a second media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the second media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receive a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determine the second media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the second media content item;
- and
- cause output of an indication associated with the second media content item.
A non-transitory, computer-readable medium, storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
- storing, by a computing device, one or more keywords corresponding to an advertisement that is associated with a media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receiving a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determining the media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the media content item;
- and
- causing output of an indication associated with the media content item.
A non-transitory, computer-readable medium, storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
- storing, by a computing device, one or more keywords corresponding to a first media content item that is associated with a second media content item, wherein a plurality of keywords that are associated with the second media content item comprises the one or more keywords;
- receiving a search request indicative of a search keyword;
- in response to the search request, determining the second media content item based on an electronically stored association between the search keyword and at least one of the plurality of keywords associated with the second media content item;
- and
- causing output of an indication associated with the second media content item.
