A suspension mat for a vehicle seat comprises a spring element, and a guiding support for at least one electrical cable. The guiding support is molded onto the spring element.

A suspension mat for a vehicle seat, comprising:
- a spring element and
- a guiding support for at least one electrical cable,
- wherein the guiding support is molded onto the spring element,
- wherein the guiding support comprises at least one groove suitable for receiving the at least one electrical cable, and
- wherein the groove has a “U” shaped cross-section.
