Abstract
Provided herein are Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING) ligand for use in enhancing immune response and/or as adjuvants in vaccines. In some embodiments, STING ligand is used alone or in combination with Alum in an adjuventation system for early life immunization.

A method of inducing an immune response to an antigen in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of an antigen and an effective amount of an adjuvantation system comprising a Stimulator of Interferon Genes (STING) ligand, wherein the subject is a newborn.
