Abstract
The present application relates to specific binding members that bind carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX). In particular, the present application relates to the treatment, diagnosis and detection of tumours, e.g. solid tumours, using specific binding members that bind CAIX. The specific binding member may be conjugated to a biocidal or cytotoxic molecule, or to a detectable label.
Claims14
A specific binding member that binds carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX), wherein the specific binding member comprises a VH domain comprising a framework and a set of complementarity determining regions HCDR1, HCDR2 and HCDR3, and a VL domain comprising a framework and a set of complementarity determining regions LCDR1, LCDR2 and LCDR3, wherein:
- HCDR1 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, HCDR2 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, HCDR3 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3, LCDR1 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 4, LCDR2 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 5, and LCDR3 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 19 or 6.
