Assembly with inner object in housing that breaks out of housing

A toy assembly, comprising:

• a housing having an outside surface, wherein the housing defines an interior space;
• an inner object in the interior space of the housing, wherein the inner object is in the form of a toy character;
• a tether connected to the housing;
• and
• a breakout motor that is operatively connected to an anchor that is at least one of the toy character, or a rotating member that is inside the housing and that is separate from the toy character, and wherein an end of the tether is connected to the anchor, thereby operatively connecting the breakout motor to the tether, such that operation of the breakout motor rotates the anchor, which pulls the tether, which in turn pulls a portion of the outside surface of the housing through into the interior space of the housing, thereby ripping a hole in the housing so as to open the housing,
• wherein the toy character is positioned such that, operation of the breakout motor winds the tether at least partially around the toy character, such that when the housing is open, the tether is at least partially wound around the toy character, wherein the toy character is sized to be removable from the housing when the housing is open.
