Clear cleansing composition

A cleansing composition comprising:

• (a) a detersive surfactant;
• (b) an aqueous carrier;
• (c) from about 0.5% to about 30% by weight of the cleansing composition of discrete particles comprising anhydrous particles and an aqueous phase, and wherein said anhydrous particles comprise:
• 1) at least two fatty amphiphiles selected from the group consisting of fatty alcohol, fatty ester, fatty acid, fatty amide, and mixtures thereof;
• and
• 2) one or more secondary surfactants selected from the group consisting of anionic, nonionic, zwitterionic, cationic or mixtures thereof, wherein the secondary surfactant comprises a hydrophobic tail group with a chain length of 16 to 22 carbon atoms, and wherein a weight ratio of fatty amphiphile to secondary surfactant is 1:5 to 100:1;
• and
• (d) wherein the discrete particle has a size of 500 microns to 15000 microns, wherein the cleansing composition has a % transmittance of about 75% or higher.
