Abstract
The present invention relates to anti-MASP-2 inhibitory antibodies and compositions comprising such antibodies for use in inhibiting the adverse effects of MASP-2 dependent complement activation.
Claims13
A nucleic acid encoding complementarity determining regions (CDRs) of heavy and light chain variable regions of an antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, that binds to human MASP-2, wherein the heavy chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO:21 and the light chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:25 or SEQ ID NO:27.
A nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding heavy and light chain variable regions of an antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, that binds to human MASP-2, wherein the heavy chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO:21 and the light chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:25 or SEQ ID NO:27.
A cell comprising:
- (a) a nucleic acid encoding complementarity determining regions (CDRs) of a heavy chain variable region of an antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, that binds to human MASP-2, wherein the heavy chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:21;
- and
- (b) a nucleic acid encoding complementarity determining regions (CDRs) of a light chain variable region of an antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, that binds to human MASP-2, wherein the light chain variable region comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:25 or SEQ ID NO:27.
