Interface for interacting with transformed deal data

A method comprising:

• receiving a plurality of sets of deal data from one or more deal data providers via one or more crawlers or data feeds the plurality of sets of deal data including one or more sets of structured and unstructured deal data, the unstructured deal data including sale deal information and coupon deal information;
• determining whether to add a brand identification included in the plurality of sets of deal data to the contents of a brand dictionary based on whether the brand identification was received in the structured deal data from a trusted deal data provider of the one or more deal data providers, the adding of the brand name causing the contents of the brand dictionary to grow without manual intervention;
• generating one or more tokens from the coupon deal information and generating one or more additional tokens from the sale deal information for comparing with the contents of the brand dictionary;
• in response to a determination that the sale deal information pertains to one or more items in a shopping list or favorites list of the user and is applicable at a store, sending an alert to a mobile device, the alert causing one or more visual representations of the sale deal information to be displayed in an interactive graphical user interface presented on the mobile device and, based on an identifying of one or more matchups between the sale deal information and the coupon deal information that pertains to the one or more items, causing one or more visual representations of the coupon deal information to be displayed in the interactive graphical user interface, the identifying of the one or more matchups based on a matching of a sale brand identification included in the sale deal information with a coupon brand identification included in the coupon deal information, the sale brand identification identified based on the comparing of the one or more tokens generated from the sale deal information with the contents of the brand dictionary, the coupon brand identification identified by the comparing of the one or more additional tokens generated from the coupon deal information with the contents of the brand dictionary.

A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions that, when executed by one or more computer processors, causes the one or more computer processors to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• receiving a plurality of sets of deal data from one or more deal data providers via one or more crawlers or data feeds, the plurality of sets of deal data including one or more sets of structured and unstructured deal data, the unstructured deal data including sale deal information and coupon deal information;
• determining whether to add a brand identification included in the plurality of sets of deal data to the contents of a brand dictionary based on whether the brand identification was received in the structured deal data from a trusted deal data provider of the one or more deal data providers, the adding of the brand name causing the contents of the brand dictionary to grow without manual intervention;
• generating one or more tokens from the coupon deal information and generating one or more additional tokens from the sale deal information for comparing with the contents of the brand dictionary;
• in response to a determination that the sale deal information pertains to one or more items in a shopping list or favorites list of the user and is applicable at a store, sending an alert to a mobile device, the alert causing one or more visual representations of the sale deal information to be displayed in an interactive graphical user interface presented on the mobile device and, based on an identifying of one or more matchups between the sale deal information and the coupon deal information that pertains to the one or more items, causing one or more visual representations of the coupon deal information to be displayed in the interactive graphical user interface, the identifying of the one or more matchups based on a matching of a sale brand identification included in the sale deal information with a coupon brand identification included in the coupon deal information, the sale brand identification identified based on the comparing of the one or more tokens generated from the sale deal information with the contents of the brand dictionary, the coupon brand identification identified by the comparing of the one or more additional tokens generated from the coupon deal information with the contents of the brand dictionary.
