Stretchable display device

A stretchable display device comprising:

• a lower substrate;
• a plurality of island substrates disposed on the lower substrate and spaced apart from each other;
• a plurality of display elements disposed on the plurality of island substrates;
• a plurality of connecting lines disposed between each of the plurality of island substrates;
• and
• a polarizing layer disposed on the lower substrate, the plurality of display elements and the plurality of connecting lines, and including a structure in which a phase delay layer and a linear polarizing plate are stacked,
• wherein the linear polarizing plate includes a plurality of first linear polarizing plates and a plurality of second linear polarizing plates that include dyes aligned perpendicular to each other, and
• wherein the plurality of first linear polarizing plates and the plurality of second linear polarizing plates are disposed alternately in a row direction or a column direction.

A stretchable display device comprising:

• a lower substrate;
• a plurality of island substrates disposed on the lower substrate and spaced apart from each other;
• a plurality of display elements disposed on the plurality of island substrates;
• a plurality of connecting lines disposed between each of the plurality of island substrates;
• and
• a polarizing layer disposed on the lower substrate, the plurality of display elements and the plurality of connecting lines, and including a structure in which a phase delay layer and a linear polarizing plate are stacked,
• wherein the linear polarizing plate includes a plurality of first linear polarizing patterns and a plurality of second linear polarizing patterns that include dyes aligned perpendicular to each other, and
• wherein the plurality of first linear polarizing patterns and the plurality of second linear polarizing patterns are disposed alternately in a row direction and a column direction.
