The present invention relates to polyethylene glycol derivatives and use thereof.

A polyethylene glycol compound of Formula 1 below, a stereoisomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein, in Formula 1 above,
- R1 is aldehyde;
- each of L1 to L3 is independently a linear or branched C1-6 alkylene;
- R2 is thiol or halogen;
- and
- n is an integer of 200 to 2400.
