A menaquinone derivative of the Formula 30, 31 or 32:
- wherein PEG-OMe is poly(ethylene glycol) monomethylether-2000.
A method of treating, preventing, slowing the progression of, arresting, and/or reversing calciphylaxis in a mammal in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the mammal a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising substantially pure menaquinol compound of the Formula 30, 31 or 32:
- wherein PEG-OMe is poly(ethylene glycol) monomethylether-2000;
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, to prevent, slow the progression of, arrest, or reverse calciphylaxis.
A method of treating calciphylaxis in a mammal in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the mammal a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising substantially pure menaquinol compound of the Formula the Formula 30, 31 or 32:
- wherein PEG-OMe is poly(ethylene glycol) monomethylether-2000;
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, to treat calciphylaxis.
