A communication method for a base station, the communication method comprising:

• receiving, from a user equipment (UE), an indication indicating that Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission using plural resource block sets is supported at the UE;
• transmitting, to the UE, information for scheduling including uplink resource allocation information for indicating, to the UE, two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE for the PUSCH transmission,
• wherein the number information for scheduling is according to the indication;
• and
• receiving, from the UE, a demodulation reference signal for use in demodulation of PUSCH, wherein:
• a sequence length of the demodulation reference signal matches a transmit bandwidth which consists of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE,
• each of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE consists of one or more consecutive resource blocks, and
• the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE are separated in frequency by at least one subcarrier which is not allocated to the UE.

A user equipment (UE) comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor configured to process the instructions to:
• transmit, to a base station, an indication indicating that Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission using plural resource block sets is supported at the UE;
• receive, from the base station, information for scheduling including uplink resource allocation information for indicating, to the UE, two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE for the PUSCH transmission,
• wherein the information for scheduling is according to the indication;
• and
• transmit, to the base station, a demodulation reference signal for use in demodulation of PUSCH, wherein:
• a sequence length of the demodulation reference signal matches a transmit bandwidth which consists of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE,
• each of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE consists of one or more consecutive resource blocks, and
• the two or more of resource block sets to be allocated to the UE are separated in frequency by at least one subcarrier which is not allocated to the UE.

A base station comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor configured to process the instructions to:
• receive, from a user equipment (UE), an indication indicating that Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission using plural resource block sets is supported at the UE;
• transmit, to the UE, information for scheduling including uplink resource allocation information for indicating, to the UE, two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE for the PUSCH transmission,
• wherein the information for scheduling is according to the indication;
• and
• receive, from the UE, a demodulation reference signal for use in demodulation of PUSCH, wherein:
• a sequence length of the demodulation reference signal matches a transmit bandwidth which consists of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE,
• each of the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE consists of one or more consecutive resource blocks, and
• the two or more resource block sets to be allocated to the UE are separated in frequency by at least one subcarrier which is not allocated to the UE.
