Beam management procedures in radio systems

A wireless device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
• receive, from a base station, one or more messages comprising configuration parameters indicating:
• a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set;
• a plurality of reference signals (RSs);
• and
• an uplink transmission configuration indication (TCI) state comprising a configuration of one or more RSs of the plurality of RSs;
• receive a downlink control information comprising an SRS resource indicator (SRI) and an uplink TCI indicator (UL-TCI), wherein:
• the SRI indicates one or more SRS resources of the SRS resource set;
• and
• the UL-TCI indicates the uplink transmission configuration indication state;
• in response to the UL-TCI being equal to a predefined value, determine an uplink spatial domain transmission filter based on the one or more SRS resources of the SRS resource set;
• and
• transmit, via a physical uplink shared channel, a transport block with the uplink spatial domain transmission filter.

A system comprising:

• a base station comprising:
• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
• transmit one or more messages comprising configuration parameters indicating:
• a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set;
• a plurality of reference signals (RSs);
• and
• an uplink transmission configuration indication (TCI) state comprising a configuration of one or more RSs of the plurality of RSs;
• and
• transmit a downlink control information comprising an SRS resource indicator (SRI) and an uplink TCI indicator (UL-TCI), wherein:
• the SRI indicates one or more SRS resources of the SRS resource set;
• and
• the UL-TCI indicates the uplink transmission configuration indication state;
• and
• a wireless device comprising:
• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
• receive the one or more messages;
• receive the downlink control information;
• in response to the UL-TCI being equal to a predefined value, determine an uplink spatial domain transmission filter based on the one or more SRS resources of the SRS resource set;
• and
• transmit, via a physical uplink shared channel, a transport block with the uplink spatial domain transmission filter.
