Abstract

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for assessing a radio link quality using resources corresponding to bandwidth parts. One method includes receiving first information including a plurality of reference signal resource sets for a plurality of bandwidth parts. Each reference signal resource set of the plurality of reference signal resource sets corresponds to a bandwidth part of the plurality of bandwidth parts. The method includes receiving a plurality of spatial quasi-co-location information corresponding to a plurality of reference signal resources of the plurality of reference signal resource sets. The method includes assessing a radio link quality based on the plurality of spatial quasi-co-location information.

Dependent claims

A method at a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:

operating the UE with a plurality of active bandwidth parts;
maintaining, as part of a radio link failure (RLF) procedure, one in-sync (IS) counter and one out-of-sync (OOS) counter per radio link monitoring (RLM) cell by counting IS and OOS instances for each RLM cell for use in determining a radio link failure, wherein maintaining the one IS counter and the one OOS counter per RLM cell comprises using the one IS counter per RLM to count IS instances across configured bandwidth parts (BWPs) and using the one OOS counter per RLM to count OOS instances across the configured BWPs;
determining a synchronization status of IS or OOS at a certain time based on at least one radio link monitor resource set for at least one active bandwidth part of the plurality of active bandwidth parts;
in response to determining that the synchronization status is OOS, indicating the synchronization status as being OOS;
and
in response to determining that the synchronization status is IS, indicating the synchronization status as being IS.
