Electronic apparatus and control method therefor

An image capturing apparatus comprising:

• a first operation member;
• a second operation member different from the first operation member;
• a specific operation member different from the first operation member and the second operation member;
• and
• at least one memory and at least one processor which function as:
• a control unit configured to perform control,
• wherein, in a case where the image capturing apparatus is in a first operation mode, the control unit performs a switching function of switching a locked state of an operation on the specific operation member in response to an operation on the first operation member,
• wherein, in a case where the image capturing apparatus is in a second operation mode different from the first operation mode, the control unit performs a function different from the switching function in response to the operation on the first operation member,
• wherein the first operation member and the second operation member are located on a back side of the image capturing apparatus, and the first operation member is located on a surface of the back side of the image capturing apparatus, which is nearer to a front surface of the image capturing apparatus than a surface on which the second operation member is located, and
• wherein a height of the first operation member, which is a height from a surface of the image capturing apparatus on which the first operation member is located to an operation surface of the first operation member, is lower than a height of the second operation member, which is a height from a surface of the image capturing apparatus on which the second operation member is located to an operation surface of the second operation member.
