Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes a display unit configured to display a plurality of display objects for giving an instruction to execute processing on an operation screen, a determination unit configured to determine whether to change a display order of the plurality of display objects based on a state of the information processing apparatus, and a change unit configured to change the display order of the plurality of display objects displayed on the operation screen based on the numbers of uses of the respective display objects in a case where the determination unit determines to change the display order.
Claims13
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory device that stores a set of instructions;
- and
- at least one processor that executes the set of instructions to:
- store a list that specifies a display order of a plurality of display objects for instructing execution of processing;
- acquire a request for screen display;
- in a case where a user does not start an operation at a timing of acquiring the request for screen display, based on the display order specified in the stored list, display a first screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged;
- and
- in a case where the user starts an operation at the timing of acquiring the request for screen display, delete the stored list, and, based on a history of processing corresponding to the plurality of display objects, generate a list that specifies a display order of the plurality of display objects anew, and, based on the display order specified in the list generated anew, display a second screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged.
A method for an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- storing a list that specifies a display order of a plurality of display objects for instructing execution of processing;
- acquiring a request for screen display;
- in a case where a user does not start an operation at a timing of acquiring the request for screen display, based on the display order specified in the stored list, displaying a first screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged;
- and
- in a case where the user starts an operation at the timing of acquiring the request for screen display, deleting the stored list, and, based on a history of processing corresponding to the plurality of display objects, generating a list that specifies a display order of the plurality of display objects anew, and, based on the display order specified in the list generated anew, displaying a second screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program to cause a computer to perform a method for an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- storing a list that specifies a display order of a plurality of display objects for instructing execution of processing;
- acquiring a request for screen display;
- in a case where a user does not start an operation at a timing of acquiring the request for screen display, based on the display order specified in the stored list, displaying a first screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged;
- and
- in a case where the user starts an operation at the timing of acquiring the request for screen display, deleting the stored list, and, based on a history of processing corresponding to the plurality of display objects, generating a list that specifies a display order of the plurality of display objects anew, and, based on the display order specified in the list generated anew, displaying a second screen on which the plurality of display objects are arranged.
